The Crest Audio CA6 is a rugged, high-performance dual-channel amplifier designed for touring, live sound, and fixed installations. Delivering clean, detailed audio with exceptional headroom, it's a trusted choice for engineers who demand both power and reliability.
Using advanced Class H topology, the CA6 provides up to 750 W per channel at 2 Ω or 1500 W bridged at 4 Ω, combining high efficiency with the ability to drive low-impedance loads. Its oversized toroidal transformer, large heat sinks, and dual variable-speed fans ensure stable operation under heavy use, while Crest's TourClass® protection suite guards against clipping, overheating, DC faults, and inrush surges.
Audio quality is outstanding, with a frequency response of 20 Hz–20 kHz (±0/–0.3 dB), THD+N under 0.01%, and a damping factor over 400, ensuring tight bass control and accurate signal reproduction even at high output levels. The CA6's IGM™ (Instantaneous Gain Modulation) circuitry allows safe operation into 2 Ω loads without distortion or instability.
