The Adamson E12 is a high-performance, 3-way line array enclosure representing a significant advancement in large-format sound reinforcement technology. It's engineered to deliver pristine audio clarity and powerful output for large-scale applications such as concerts, festivals, and major installations.
At the heart of the E12 is the innovative E-Capsule, a precisely engineered, lightweight aluminum structure. This capsule houses the patented Co-Linear Drive Module, which integrates a low-excursion 7-inch Kevlar Neodymium midrange transducer and a next-generation 4-inch high-frequency compression driver. This coaxial mounting arrangement ensures a seamless mid-high frequency blend with minimal distortion, even at extremely high SPLs (Maximum Peak SPL of 145 dB). The critically optimized waveguide, based on a prolate-spheroidal geometry, guarantees precise pattern control and minimum Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), producing a nominal dispersion pattern of 110∘ × 8∘.
Flanking the E-Capsule are two separate, vented birch ply enclosures, each containing Adamson's proprietary 12-inch Kevlar Neodymium woofers. These drivers utilize the company's Advanced Cone Architecture and optimized heat dissipation management, ensuring robust and consistent low-frequency performance across its impressive frequency range of 60 Hz to 18 kHz (±3 dB).
Ease of deployment is a hallmark of the E12, thanks to the integrated, modular Autolockâ„¢ rigging system, which is made of aircraft-grade steel and mounted directly to the E-Capsule's rigid skeletal structure. This patented system significantly reduces setup and teardown time, making the E12 a preferred choice for demanding touring sound companies and fixed installations alike. Its overall design focuses on reducing weight and footprint without compromising performance, defining the E-Series as an industry leader.
