The Adamson Point8 is the most compact member of the renowned Point Series, yet it delivers a remarkable amount of output and fidelity for its small size. This two-way, full-range enclosure is powered by an 8-inch Kevlar Neodymium driver (ND8-LM) for the low-mid frequencies, paired with a B&C 1-inch exit compression driver mounted on a proprietary fiberglass waveguide for the high frequencies. This combination ensures a linear frequency response from 65 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum peak SPL of 130.6 dB.
Designed for both permanent installation and flexible deployment, the Point8 features a rotatable 90° x 60° waveguide, allowing the defined coverage pattern to be optimized for horizontal or vertical orientation. Its unique hexagonal enclosure shape enables it to be used effortlessly as a low-profile floor monitor without requiring external mounting hardware. With 300W AES (1200W Peak) passive power handling, it is powerful enough for jazz bands or moderate live music, while being perfectly suited for high-quality speech and playback systems. The speaker supports advanced processing from platforms like Lake and XTA, making the Point8 a versatile and powerful point source solution.
